R.I.P C.Walker.

Watching the news this week, i was very disturbed. There has been another school shooting. But this time it was not a hate crime, where someone opens fire upon an entire school. This time it was a feud that escalated to extreme levels. A total of 7 henry Ford students were involved in a fight, which ended in the murder of one child, and left three more wounded. Its horrible to see this, the kids in this argement were of the ages fifteen through eighteen. The shooter was 16 year old son of a Detroit police leutennant. When i heard this story i immediatelly thought of the movie we wathced in class, tough guise. So far, the reason for the fight is unknown. However, this is very sad to see. Im sure whatever the reason for the fight, im sure murder wasnt the answer. Its just another case of some guy getting into a fight and trying to prove his masculinity. Hes just gone to far, and thats how more of the horrible stories you hear start. its very sad, and i would love to have it be the last story i hear like this, the saddest part is, i know it wont be.

I agree with Ryan. This shooting is extremely sad and I can't believe things like this happen. It is so sad and unbelievable to think that kids in high school will turn to extreme violence, even murder, to settle a dispute. These kids need to learn how not to let their problems get to that level but I think they learn their problem solving kids from their parents and other role models in their life. If kids see adults or older people in their life resulting to violence as a way to settle arguments, they will follow, as will their kids, and the cycle will never end. Even though I don't get along with everyone all the time and I get into arguments, I would never think to kill someone. I do not understand how people are able to live with themselves after doing something like that. Also, I think it the government has made it too easy for kids to access guns. In this sitution, the shooter was the son of a police lutennant so it was probably easier for him to get a weapon, but overall gun control laws should be stricter.
